Chevrolet company extended official photos and the detailed information on the most powerful version of coupe Camaro which has received brand name «ZL1». The premiere of this car takes place on Motor Show in Chicago.

The novelty is equipped with the 6,2-litre 8-cylinder gasoline engine with mechanical supercharger «Eaton». Capacity of the motor working together with 6-step mechanical gear box «Tremec TR-6060» makes 550HP, and the maximum twisting moment is equal 677Nm. Dynamic characteristics of charged coupe Camaro yet are not informed.
Besides it, most powerful Camaro received the new exhaust system, the strengthened propeller shaft and differential of the raised friction, 20-inch wheel disks, powerful six-piston brake gears with 370-mm disks on a front axle. Also Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be equipped with adaptive suspender Magnetic Ride with the strengthened absorbers arranged to concrete road conditions.
As noted presented Chevrolet companies, new Chevrolet Camaro still passes road tests which will be finished within 2011. In this connection it's expected that in sale in the US car market the car arrives only in 2012.
